WE ARE NOW BACK FROM THE UK, SWEDEN & DENMARK
As we have been away for over 5 weeks and before that moving on July 1st, I just have not had time to write about the things that the Master has been telling me.
However one of the things he has told me about is the following. Hope you enjoy reading it.
CRACKPOTS
You are just where the Lord wants you to be!
But do you sometimes feel time has passed you by?
Do you also feel that it is too late for the Lord to use you now? Maybe you have passed your sell by date.
Never may that be said, rejoice in the fact that Jesus has an appointed time for you and nothing will stop his hand from moving in your life.
You will stir in HIS spirit at just the right time.
Nothing can hinder the Lord, as he can even use the stones to tell people about him, but he chooses people like YOU
Many of us have been through times of great sorrow, brokenness, have been misused emotionally, felt worthless and have low self esteem, but guess what? ‘You are just what the Lord has been looking for’ he never came for the self righteous as even his Bride is made up of imperfect people like YOU and me.
Basically we have TWO choices of being like a piece of pottery, the first one is:
YOU could wish to be a lovely piece of pottery, well formed, with no imperfections in. YOU could want to be something worth looking at and admiring
Or YOU could feel I am more like a ‘cracked pot’-dirty-dusty and worthless to look at or own. This pot has been left in a corner somewhere and no one cares about it or wants to own it.
But then along comes someone who wants a pot that will shine with a light within it. So the first ‘perfect looking pot’ is tried, but what happens? No light shines out of it and in fact the light even goes out totally.
But then all of a sudden someone suggests trying the ‘cracked pot’ and yes you have guessed it, the light shines out of all the cracks and keeps on shining with a lovely warm glow.
Does the person worry about the dust and dirt? NO; because people are just drawn to the light shining from it.
So the person looking for the special pot that allows the light to shine out of it, takes hold of the cracked one and says, this is just what I have been looking for, as it will make a perfect vessel for the purpose I have for it.
When we have been chosen by the Lord, let us soak in his love and get to know his Fathers heart.
Our wonderful Lord is looking at us, as his very own chosen vessels; that he loves so much that he gave up everything so that we could become his beloved.
So stop looking at yourself and worrying about what other people think of you. Look to the Lord Jesus and look into his beautiful face and let him heal all your sorrows, hurts and pain. Allow Jesus Christ to comfort you and spend time with you on your own.
Jesus told his followers to keep asking, keep seeking, in other words keep talking to Him, as he loves that. Ask him questions and see how he answers you even in small matters. You are his dear child.
How would you feel if you gave everything up and even your life for a beloved one and then all they could say was; “I don’t know if he or she really loved me”
So stop living in the past and move on into the future with our Lord Jesus Christ. He will hold your hand and never let it go. Even if you do let go he will still hold your hand all the way. He will never let you go, as his hand will always be ready to hold you.
Unless we become as little children, we can never really know him, so we need to humble ourselves and submit to our wonderful King who is so kind and gentle (1 Peter 5:5-7)
If anyone is reading this at the moment that wants to know if Jesus really loves you, then just cry out to him and you will be surprised how quickly he will hear you. Please do not wait, get to know him now and you will never be the same again.
I really believe that I have written this word from the Lord for a person or persons who will read this blog and will get to trust in our wonderful saviour Jesus Christ.
May the love of the Lord Jesus Christ stir your heart and remember you may feel like you’re a crackpot, but that means you have all you need to shine for Jesus Christ our Lord
Love & Blessings

MY 60th BIRTHDAY TODAY
Today I celebrated my 60th Birthday in Larnaca and we had a very nice day. This morning we had a good time painting at the Art Lounge and then we went to Ormedia and spent some time with Manuchair and Mary.
Then in the evening we went to an Art Exhibition and saw some paintings by Alyson a member of the Art Group we go to on Wednesday morning and then in the evening we had a nice meal in an Art Cafe near the sea front in Larnaca.
The cafe is built of stone from an old Castle built in Famagusta. The cafe was built in 1900 and has that old but nice feel to it.
Sunday we attended the 8th Anniversary of the OCF Church in Limassol that is mainly Philipino ladies and some Brits and various other Nationalities. It was a good event and we had lunch afterwards.
I am including some photos with this post, so that you can get some idea of what it is like in Cyprus at the moment.

THE WOMAN WITH THE ALABASTER JAR
THE WOMAN WITH THE ALABASTER JAR
When I started researching this bible account, I asked the Lord what he wanted to teach me, I read the accounts from Mathew 26:7-13, Mark14:3-9, Luke 7: 36-50 John 12-1 -7. The Matthew account is different to the other 3 accounts and maybe people get confused with them and believe it is the same woman.
The woman in Matthews account came into the house of Simon the leper, where Jesus was found to be reclining at the table, as were many other men.
The unthinkable happened when this woman entered the room; this was considered unconventional in the Middle East and was totally against local custom, as a woman’s place was in the kitchen. However this woman had such a desire to see her dear Lord…. such a longing to be with him…. she just needed to show how much she loved and cherished him.
She longed for him to notice her, so she went up to him without saying a word, and broke open the alabaster jar that was full of very expensive perfumed oil, most likely worth a years wages, and lavished on Jesus.
For her nothing was too extravagant, as she wanted to give her Lord every thing she had, so she held nothing back. Maybe we can ask our selves, would we have done the same? Or would we have just poured a little on his head? She was willing to be ridiculed by all the men in the room, as she was not only a woman but a woman of many sins.
It is highly possible that the money she paid for the oil was obtained by her sinful life style, but we never hear the Lord say to her go away, woman you are not fit to anoint my head with oil.
Would we as humans judge her? Maybe ask how could the Lord accept this gift from a woman who had led a sinful life style? When we read the account in Matthew 26, Jesus was aware that the disciples were thinking that what she did was a waste of expensive oil, but his reply to them was, she has done a beautiful thing to me.
He then turned to Simon the leper and said, you did not give me water for my feet, but this woman wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair, and that was something a woman was not permitted to do, as her hair could only be taken down and uncovered for her husband; but this wonderful woman was willing to risk everything for her Lord.
This woman knew that in her small way, she had given her all to him by pouring this very expensive oil over his head and anointing his body, also we need to remember she never kept anything back for herself.
She must have known that in just 2 days he was going to pour out his life for her and the rest of the world so because of her great faith and much love, Jesus told her that her sins were forgiven. After that he then told her that because of her great faith and love for him her story would be told in all the earth in memory of her.
I learnt from this that no matter how broken or worthless we may feel, we can be assured our loving LORD JESUS CHRIST will always be there for us, he can totally change our lives around. Just one touch from the king changes every thing. When some people come to the LORD they are so poor they think they have nothing to give to him but he wants nothing from them except for their love.
I believe this account of the woman with the Alabaster Jar is saying; Stop looking back at the past and look forward to the future, live every day with the LORD, HOLDING NOTHING BACK, but give all we can to our dear faithful lord, who when he was dying on the cross knew very well he was dying for sinners like us.
He was well aware of who he was dying for as he knew us all before creation Ephesians 1; he choose to die for us, so what right do we have to tell him we are not worth anything, especially as he looks at us with the eyes of love.
That is why he gave everything up, so that we could come to know him and have life in abundance, he chose to come to the earth as a servant king, so is he asking too much of us when all he wants is our love and obedience?
I love the way the Lord always lifts up the broken hearted and the needy. He loves the poor just as he truly loves us all. I am so pleased I HAVE COME TO REALLY KNOW HIM. I spent 52 years as a JW but I never really knew Jesus as I DO NOW.
I JUST want to let every body know how wonderful he is. Some people ask me how they can GET TO know him. The way I have got to know him is to PRAY AND READ HIS WORD and talk to him like he is right by my side. I thank him for dying on the cross so that we can live and have eternal life; I thank him for listening to us when no one else can help, I thank him for all he has given us.
Jesus said himself that the sheep would hear his voice, so to be one of his sheep we must hear his voice, take time to listen to him and speak to you, train your ears to hear his still small voice.
Never think he is too far away for you for him to hear you, you just need to ask him into your life, and you will never be lonely again. Remember Jesus said ask and it will be given to you, so nothing you ask is impossible for him, but remember if what you are asking him for is not in accord with his will, he will direct you in another way.
So loved ones of the Lord wait and see your life change, ask him what he thinks will be best for you. Learn to trust him; it’s only when we think we can trust our selves or others, that life takes a wrong turn.
Please pray and ask the LORD to direct your steps tell him you want to get to know him, like the woman with the Alabaster Jar…tell him how you want to get to know him and love him.
I DEARLY HOPE BLESSED ONES THAT THESE few words will bring you closer to our LORD.
Let me know how the LORD has changed your life and what you heard him say to you.

THE BRIDE
This morning I was woken up early and the Lord gave me these words about his Bride
MY BRIDE
I never came for a perfect Bride
I chose her because I love her, with an overpowering love at whatever the cost, even to die and lay my life down for her.
I CHOSE HER……..I CHOSE HER
I LOVE HER
I CHERISH HER
Yes sometimes she doesn’t love me back
Yes sometimes she hurts me
BUT I LOVE HER
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HER
I bought her at great cost; I gave up everything for her
I lost everything for her, but because I lost I also gained everything
Don’t look at the individual people, but look at the whole body together, that she is my Bride
I never came for a perfect Bride; I knew I would never find one, but my love is so great for her; just like a man besotted by his new love, he only sees her with eyes of love
As you know I AM LOVE
Stop trying to tell me who to love or how to love
I have chosen the one I love and I will never change my mind. I will wait for her until we are brought together as one body
If I can love her, so can you
Don’t look at her with human eyes, but with the eyes of love
Yes she is tired and she is not the bride you would think I should choose
But you see; my love for her is perfect
I CHOSE HER BECAUSE I KNOW SHE LOVES ME
Blessings in the name of Yeshua
